A little about Padject
The Padject was first created to assist nurses in educating self-injecting patients. From these humble beginnings in a suburban backyard, Padject has evolved into a product tailored to the needs of many hundreds of students and professionals. People brushing up on injection skills such as veterinary scientists, medical doctors and nurses find the Padject to be invaluable in learning and reinforcing the specialised skill set - all whilst developing confidence.
To become skilled at administering injections students and professionals alike were forced to practice on a variety of frustrating and potentially dangerous specimens. Before Padject there were many improvised injection simulators such as apples, oranges, live animals and even fellow students! At Padject we trialled every alternative we could imagine and the results went to show that incorrect density was the main cause of poor injection simulation. Not to mention that the alternatives seldom lasted a week or would simply roll off the table.
With these problems acknowledged a more appropriate product was sought. Trials and testing commenced and a wide variety of products and materials were analysed. After some years in development the perfect compilation of materials was discovered and Padject, the first multi-layered injection simulator, was created.
Following on from mass production, Padject went from strength to strength - increasing its range to include Large, Bone and Strap-On Padjects. Padject can now even offer printing directly onto the Padjects as well as customised material colours.
